No book can be pretty if the pictures are badly cut out and carelessly put in, and the leaves crum pled aud daubed with paste. Have your paste rather thick, but free from lumps, and iproad it on thinly. Put t sheet of card-board as large as your book undor the page on which you aro going to paste, so as to havet linn, smooth surface to press upon. Then lay tho pioturo carefully in its place, using a toft rag to smooth out the wrinkle! and wipe the patte from the edges. When you have finished all the pasting you moan to do at the time, put some ihoeti of rather porous paper newspaper win uu uutweeu in leaves, ana It possible, icparato them from the reit of the book by two iheet of card board ilipped between them tnd tho dry leavoi.
