Ferguson who was frrested Sat urday on a charge of forgery, was brought before Judge Taylor Monday morning, plead guiltg and was bound over to appear before the grand jury at its December term. Being unable to furnish bail he was committed to the county jail. Saturday Ferguson forged two checks and passed them on T. E. Daniel. The checks were for $10 and $9.40 res pectively and were drawn on the Farm ers and Fruitgrowers bank. They were signed by the Peoples Amuse ment company, with which company Ferguson had previously been employ ed.
