A movement is on foot to establish
a rural delivery of mails coming up on
the south side of the Rogue river and
returning on the north side, between
Grants Pass and Woodville. This was
sought last year, but turned down by
the department because of not being
able to show a population as required
by the regulations.

A paper is being circulated now, and
it is believed that far over 100 families
will be accounted for this time and
that the service is assured.
The distança covered is twenty-two
miles.
