General News THE COURT HOUSE Work has begun on the electric road connecting Centralia with Chehalis, Wash. A fire at Snoqualmie, Wash. Satur day destroyed property valued at 160,000. Israel Putnam Risdale, a former slave, is living at Glasgow, Ky. aged III years. Robert J. Burdette, who is ill at his summer home near Los Angeles, Calif, is reported better. Judge James of Los Angeles, Calif, holds the record for divorces, having granted 16 in one day recently. Whiskey tax receipts for the year e iding July 20, show a decrease of more than five million dollars from the r jport of the year previous.
