mi rial Club are hereby requested to
call at the Bank of Jacksonville and
pay their monthly assessments as the
dub is now finishing the pamphlets
and will need the money. Otheiwise
the levretary will be obliged to go
around and make the collections which
would necessitate an additional expense.
This money is needed to develope the
town and should not be wasted in
making collections, llon’t overlook
this matter because everything is in
readiness to go ahead.

under the provisions of the homestead
laws of the United State.- and the act

er who was actually and in good faith
claiming any of said latals for agri­
cultural purposes prior to January 1,
1906, and has not abandoned same, has
a preference right to make a home­
stead entry for the lands actually
occupied. Said lands were listed upon
the applications of the persons rner-
tioned below, who have a preferanee
right subject to the prior right of any
such settler, provided such settler or
applicant is qualified to make homestead
entry and the preference right is ex­
ercised prior to August 12. 1908. on
which date the lands will be subject to
settlement and entry by any pualified
person. Where there were two or
more applicants lor the listing of the
sime lands, the preference right is ac­
corded in the order in which their names
aregiven in this notice. The lands are
