The building and equipment are
of the most approved types and
contain every convenience for
working. The cooling room and
boiler room are attached to the
main building. The plant has
capacity of handling 15,000
pounds of milk and producing
1G00 pounds of cheese daily.
Cheese, being susceptible to
its surroundings, will not cure
properly in a painted building,
and the floor must be a sufficient
distance from the earth. Pre
cautions have been taken in this
plant for the best results.
The factory is paying 57 cents
for butterfat at present, and the
farmers receive their whey in
return. Whey makes excellent
feed for hogs and chickens.
