He hss been returned because he has had practically no opposition in the Republican primaries and because a Democrat, U appears, cannot beat a Republican at the polls in this district. There have been rumors that Senator W. A. Dimick would be a candidate against Hawley in the spring primaries. If these are true, it will be Mr. Hawley that will have to do some run ning.
