Mrs. Lizzie Olin and child ren visited relilives at Airlit returning this week. Allen Johnson is making arrangements to erect a small house on his place. Harry Clinton is helping his uncle, Ellis Dodsou with his farm- work at Airlie. Earl Bosley returned to California where he has em ployment for the winter. Hill and wife of Dallas were guests of R. M Bosley and wife last week. Roy Clark and wife have moved tu Monmouth, where he is working on the sectun Basil Gilliam and Floyd Miller of Falls City were in our neighborhood last week. EOLA POULTRY INDUSTRY Eola Ooats of her poultry industry as well as her hops, and fruit industry. The L. 8. Robbins Co. poultry plant is among tht best in the northwest. They have in one house 500 laying hens at the present time and bout 1500 pullets be sides. Acu3 is going into the winter with about 100 white leghorns, he i? an am ateur and you will hear from him later. N. Mitty has a fine flock of utility fowls mostly white leghorna, and under his per sonal supervision they are a paying proposition the year round. Monte Vanderburg has started this vear in Favoralls and Buff Orpingtons and ex pects to make a paying prop osition of them. 'I. L. Patterson has recent ly purchased the Cornelions' place two miles east of here and, it is understood, will engage the services of an ex perienced and practical poul try man and try his luck at the Black Minorkas B. I. Furgeson had a fine fiock of Rhode Island , Reds but owing to the crowding of other busii ess this summer he could not devote his en tire time to them but manag ed to raise a good supply of find stock to keep uohis end in the poultry industry. The boy arrived about 6:00 A. M. weighed nine pounds, is a fine looker, and mother and babe are reported doing nicely. Dr. R. T. Mclntire officiated. R. J. Taylor has three good hotels for sale or trade and will consider farm prop erty on each.
