Joh n says he has been to all the Oregon coast resorts, but he prefers the moun tains and that Cascadia is hard to beat. The vacation which the bovs of the company have had < should _ give the zest and interest in the w inter’s work that is needed to make K company the best in the state. I t is hoped that a greater interest is taken in the company and that the young men of the town who do not belong will enlist at once and do their bit for both Uncle Sam and Independence.
