|T’S HUMAN NATURE
O send out thy light and thy truth:
let them lead me.—Isa. 43-3. Such has
been the prayer of earnest souls through
all the ages—and let us praise our God,
who heareth prayer and has ever bless­
ed those who sought for heaven’s gilts;
the earth is being flooded with the light
of the “Sun of Righteousness” as never
before; we know there is healing in his
wings for all people and nations wound­
ed by the dragon of sin: and where, on
whom has it not left its poisoned sting?
But is the light of Heaven, the very
Light of God beaming and flashing in
Ashland! and so many oblivious to it?
Yes, we rejoice in its clear and life-giv­
ing ravs, but oh so sorrv that many are
still willing to be under condemnation,
because they prefer darkness to light,
and say by their lives: “Away with
Truth. Crucify it! Crucify it!” And
still a Loving Father is making new
avenues for the transmission of His
gifts.
