Ouvidson, who is a manufactur ing jeweler in San Francisco, is mak ing friends living in this section a short visit. STATE COMMISSION MAKES CAUSTIC REPORT ON ASYLUM KKATTLK, Wash., Oct. M. Conditions that are said by the state insanity com mission to be n disgrace to the state of Washington exist in that part of the stale penitentiary where insane crimin als are confined. The commission has reported to Fovernor Mead, who asked for the investigation, that because the dangerous patients are granted the priv ileges allowed by the regulations, they are confined to their cells 22 hours every day with but two hours for open air exercise. The commission recommended a separate building for these patients. BIJOU THEATER READY AGAIN FOR OCCUPANCY After being closed for the past few days, the Bijou theater will open again this evening.
