Thompson, a native son of Spokane, left yesterday for his home after enjoying a most delightful four week' visit to relatives and friends in Medford and vicinity. He regrets his time was so limited and that he oitld not stay longer and see more of the famous Rogue River valley and grand scenery and her prolific orrhards, vineyards, coal mines and ford the gem city of Southern Ore oiher attractions. They started for tho Ou ter sawmill, as he wanted to look 't over for another party, In an auto mobile, and when they got to tho Conover camp, about two mUes fioM the mill, the auto broke down and Mr. Knyart had to walk to Castor's, procure a team and driver to brine his family back to the valley.
