Frozen to Death. KLAMATH FALLS, Or., Jan. 9 A young man named A. E. Bennett was found frozen to death in the woods near Callahan's ranch, in Alkali Valley, Saturday. Bennett left here December 31st on horseback with provisions and mail for his hojie stead. Leaving his horse at Calla han's, he loft there on foot, aud is supposed to have lost his bearings in the woods, where there waB about two feet of snow. Bennett waa a big, athletic fellow, twenty-seven years old, had been married a year, and came here from Pennsylvania. " Notice.
