An other day was spent in Ashland with the faimly of J. W. O. Gregory. The presence of Mrs. John Harvey, of Stockton, Calif., added greatly to the pleasure of the day. Ashland can not be called a dull town these days. The work of installing the sewor system makes thintrs lively on the streets and the eye is at once caught by the unmoor ot new buildings going up, The most couspicious being the beautiful high school building and the oricK uusiness mocks ou the main street. at this writing, lie is resting easily.
