Mr. and Mrs. D.-Morris have re turned to the ranch,, after a few days sojourn in Msdford. J. W. Smith is indisposed this week, but his friends hope to tee hi j around again in a few days. Harrv Cinaosde spent Monday with relatives in Central Point and Tuesday in Medford interviewing bj ercbants. Mrs. St. Clair, of Central Point, who has recently returned from a trip east, is speuding a fow days with her old time friends, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Gregory. Mrs. Lulu Perry and little daughter, Nellie, have nearly re covered from a several weekf' siege of intermittent fever. Dr. Pickel was tbe attending physician. T. K. Kopner, an old and re spected resident of Big Stickey, was found dead last Triday morning, of heart disease. Tbe funeral services were held at the residence of bis aunt, Mrs. Evans, where he has lived for a number of years, and interments was made in Central Point cemetery. News has reaobed us of tbe death of Mrs, Lizzie Crance, of Klamath county, for many year a resident o( Big Stickey. Mrs. Crance leaves a husband and three obildren, in Klamath county, and a boat of relatives in Jackson county to mourn her loss. We extend our heart felt sympathy to tbe bereaved family.
