Nell offered a minority report, objecting to the seat ing of J. O. Brisco, of Trail creek, by W. S. Crowoll, proxy, and claiming the seat for David Pentz, who was present and held credentials from his preclnot. In the confusion that followed the read' Ing of the minority report, the reporter learned that two primary meetings had been held at Trail at different hours and each in the interest of the rival parties, A motion to set aside both delegates from Trail created an animated discus sion, although the chair was disposed to submit the question without permitting any. In taking the vote eonfusion was everywhere, even force being used to bring men to their feet it was used, however, in a jocular way. . A motion to adopt majority report of credential committee carried, thirty to twenty. The commlttoo on permanent organizations report was read recom mending that tbe temporary officers be made permanent officers of tho conven tion.
