Wallowa 65, Imbler 21: Jamie Johnston scored 24 points Friday, Kyla Hook added 19, and the Cougars routed Imbler at home in Old Oregon League play. Wallowa used a big fi rst quarter to take a 14-point lead, then broke the game open with a 36-6 second-half scoring spree. Kenna Whitmore scored 12 points to lead the Panthers. Wallowa (11-10 overall, 5-4 OOL) hosts Joseph Friday, while Imbler (1-17, 1-7) hosts Nixyaawii Saturday. Joseph 57, Pine Eagle 39: The Eagles only had three players score Friday, but that was all they needed to earn an Old Oregon League win over the Spartans in Imbler. Sabrina Albee led the way with 23 points, Madelyn Nelson added 19 and Bri- anna Micka scored 15. Joseph quickly built a double-digit lead at 21-11 after one and rolled from there. The Eagles (15-5 overall, 8-0 OOL) visit Elgin Saturday in a vital OOL showdown. Kaleb Myer added seven points and Zach Wiggins had six. The Tigers broke the game open after halftime as they outscored Ontario 29-13 in the second half. La Grande (6-12 overall, 4-1 GOL) visits Powder Valley Saturday. Joseph 64, Pine Eagle 38: Chase Murray scored 24 points Friday — 12 in each half — and Mason Ferre add- ed 18 as the Eagles blasted Pine Eagle in an Old Oregon League game in Imbler. Hadley Miller added 12 points for the Eagles, who took control with a 15-5 second- quarter run to pull ahead at the break, 30-12. They extended the lead to 48-28 after three quarters for the easy win. Joseph (15-5 overall, 8-2 OOL) visits Elgin Saturday.
