Thursday, February 6, 2020 GO! magazine — A&E in Northeast Oregon 3 Three songwriters featured at Tunesmith Night ■ Saturday gathering features Jeremy Ferrara, Bart Budwig and Jon Lee ENTERPRISE — The Wallowa Valley Music Alliance presents an- other edition of Tunesmith Night, a monthly showcase of original music, at 7 p.m. Feb. 8. Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday’s show features songwriters Jeremy Ferrara, Bart Budwig and Jon Lee. The venue is Sugar Time Bakery, located in the Burnaugh Building, 107 N. River St., Enterprise. According to the alliance’s website, the venue provides a “perfect atmosphere” for an evening of music. Tunesmith Night is presented in a round-robin format, with each musician playing a song, then the next taking a turn. Admission is $10 at the door, or by season pass. Seating is limited. All ages are welcome. Sugar Time BART BUDWIG Bart Budwig is described as “a son of Idaho, a cosmic country crooner, a rousing trumpet player, and cryin’-style soul singer.” His music includes thrum and strum country rhythms, jazz guitar melo- dies and R&B vocals. Budwig’s songs address complex emotional states of being with com- forting, uplifting, relatable music. His new album, “Another Burn on the AstroTurf,” was recorded over fi ve days by a seven-piece band at the OK Theatre in Enterprise.
