Cameron Dillman led the Bobcats with 194 yards rushing and two touchdowns, and added a 48-yard TD reception. Anthony Goodwater rushed for 134 yards and a score, and Jace Phillips added 63 yards rushing. Stats were not available for Enterprise. The Bobcats (3-3 overall, 2-2 SD3-W) fi nish the regular season Oct. 25 against Ione/Arlington, while Enterprise (2-4, 2-3) waits to meet its opponent — likely Powder Valley — in the SD3 District playoff Nov. 1. Observer staff A trio of Eastern Oregon teams were selected to fi nish in the middle of the pack in their preseason Cascade Col- legiate Conference coaches polls. On the hardwood, the EOU men’s basketball team was chosen fi fth in the preseason poll, which came out last week. That’s where Eastern fi nished a season ago, when it went 10-8 in conference play. Oregon Tech, the national runner-up in 2019 and de- fending CCC champion, was picked to repeat in the coaches’ poll. OIT garnered 118 points and eight fi rst-place votes. College of Idaho, which was second, had 111 points and two fi rst-place votes. Southern Oregon (88) and Corban (81) took third and fourth. EOU had 75 points to round out the top fi ve, as well as the fi nal fi rst-place vote. The Eastern Oregon men’s wrestling team, meanwhile, was selected to fi nish sixth in the CCC in the preseason wrestling poll on Wednesday. Menlo College was selected as the preseason favorite with eight fi rst-place votes and 140 points. Embry- Riddle, which won the CCC a year ago, was second at 129 and three fi rst-place votes. Montana State Northern (124), Providence (99) and Southern Oregon (92) took third through fi fth, and East- ern (84) followed in sixth. MSUN grabbed the fi nal fi rst-place vote. The women’s wrestling team was chosen to fi n- ish fourth in the inaugural preseason coaches poll in the seven-team CCC. Menlo was a unanimous preseason favorite with 49 points and all seven fi rst- place votes. Southern Oregon (42) and Providence (35) were second and third, and EOU (24) followed.
