dleton. Mrs. Johnson will be
joined at Pendleton by her sister,

their mother, Mrs. John Asper,
will accompany them to Berke
ley. Mrs. Holler will remain for
a short visit and Mrs. Asper will
return to Union in about three
weeks.

Planning For Mill
Of 25,000 Capacity
The site for a lumber mill has
been purchased by timber own
ers in the Troy area and plans
for establishing a mill were dis
cussed by them w'"i Supervisor
Carl Ewing of the Umatilla na
tional forest.
They had previously planned
a mill of 100,000-foot daily cut,
but Ewing advistd a smaller mill
of 25,000-foot cupacity to harvest
the timber of that area of the
Grande Rondvj-vulley on the basis
of a tree farm sustained cut.
