Ia pound salt pork 1 large onion I: 2 teaspoons salt 1 tablespoon molasses 1 cup boiling water " - teaspoon mustard , '; ' 6 tablespoons catsup , 4 tablespoons brown sugar i Soak beans overnight in cold water to ' cover. Drain, add boiling water to cover, let simmer with one-half teaspoon soda for j 15 minutes. Drain beans, cover again with boiling water, simmer until almost tender. Put salt pork and whole onion in bottom of baking dish. Add the beans. Mix mo lasses, salt, mustard, catsup and brown sugar, and pour over beans. Add enough of the bean water to cover.
