Its final meeting 'for the year Thurs
day evening at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. T. H. Gartner, 2004 Oak street.
Elmo Stevenson, gave a talk on "Boy
Scouting." while Harvey Carter gave
something of the history of scouting
in this community, Leo Reynolds,
Dan Biggs and Don Miller gnvo talks
and demonstrations on tho three
types of scouts.
During the business meeting offi
cers for next year were elected as
follows: presiderrt, L. A. Kennedy;
vice president, John W. Bennett and
secretary-treasurer, M. E. Huffman.
The next meeting will be held hi
September.
