We had always thought that the fatted calf was killed fcr the honored guest. A pot luck " supper of Immense proportions was spread about eight o'clock, small tables being set for the 22 people who were pisent. Then there was an evening of pinochle and bridge with suitable prl2es. Tho guest or honor received many fine birthday gifts and MHs Amamla Zabel also received a travel gift from the hostess. Making , up the party besides Mr. and Mrs. Wall binder and their sons. Harold and Tcm: were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wall singer, and Virgil, Mrs. Martha Jane Moss, Ray Puller, Mlsa Bertha Wall Eln;;er, Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Moss and J mile, Mrs. Will Adler and daughter, Cknevieve, Mr. and Mrs. Prank Wright, Harvey Carter and the Misses Mary Taylor, Hazel Crawford, Aman da Zabel and' Mabel Morton. Moves Miss Mildred Standley, who has been living In the Landis Court apart ments hau moved out to the home of her -parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Standley, In the Iowa district for the summer months. 1 mliler Aid Mrs. 8am Knight entertained the women of the Imbler Ladles Aid so ciety Thursday at her home at Rhine hart. Mrs. Knight had her guests for on all-day quilting and tho work at hand was completed, by the 18 members and guests who were pres ent. A potluck dinner waa served at midday. Mrs. Alvin Westenskow will entertain next time on the regular meeting day. Have Dinner Together A large company of the folks nt Imbler gathered at Ruckman hall Sunday after Sunday school for a potluck dinner and a program. The program consisted of music, with readings by Mrs. Lucy Westenskow, J. A. Qaskill, Mrs. Irvin Westenskow, Mrs, B, B. Hurley and several of the children. Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. E. E.
