GARNARD COLES HAS OPERATION Friends here have received word that Garnard Coles, an alumnus of E. O. N. and now teaching in Baker county, was ojerated for a ruptured appendix Saturday. He Is a patient in a Baker hospital. JAMES F. GREY DIES AT GO RLE Funeral services for James Frank Grey, who died at Ooble, Ore. April 11, were held at Haines Monday af ternoon. He was a resident of La Orande at one time, and his wife died here in 1027.
