The new order supplements Presi dent Roosevelt's orcJor of August 28. It permits only five exemptions to the order. They are: Gold bullion held under federal license. Gold coin having a recognized value to collectors as rare and unusual. This did not Include gold $2.50 pieces. . unmeltcd scrap gold and gold not exceeding $100 In the ham's of any one person and gold in fabrication for Industrial, professional or orna mental use.. Gold coin, gold bullion and gold certificates owned by federal reserve banks or the RFC. Gold bullion and foreign gold coin now In the Philippine Islands, Hawaii and other possessions of the .United ' States not In the continental United States. President Roosevelt's previous ore'er permitted the holding of gold and gold certificates up to $100 by a , single person.
