Trojans To Play, Ohio State Two Games in 1937-38 COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 28 WP) Southern California's Trojans will en ter a two-year football contract with Ohio State university in 1037, It was announced -by Athletic Director L. W. St. John after a meeting with the Buckeye athletic board 'last' night. ' The first game with Southern Cali fornia will be played at the Ohio stadium and the second, In 1938, at Los Angeles. It will be the first time the Buck eyes have met the Trojans. Ohio State appeared on the coast in 1920, losing the Rose Bowl game to the University. of California, 28 to 0.' KRAKATOA" IS FILM OF ISLE OF BIG VOLCANO In connection with the feature pic ture starring El Brendel today and to morrow, the Liberty theatre also is showing a film, two reels in length, of unquestioned educational value. It is entitled "Krakatoa," arid has to do with the volcanic island of the same name. Situated in the Strait- of Sundn, be tween Java arid Sumatra, the island in 1883 was the scene of a volcanic disturbance of major proportions. The crater walls of Krakatoa fell in. to gether with a part of the ocean bed, carrying beneath the waves two thirds of the island. A giant ocean wave inundated the coasts of Java and Sumatra, and caused a life loss1 of 36,500. Three hundred villages were destroyed by the wave and the noise was heard for 2,000 and more miles. The picture shows much of inter est of the present day island, includ ing an eruption of the etiU active volcano. Dr. P. A. Penlck, veteran faculty member and tennis coach at the Uni versity of Texas, rides a bicycle about the campus.
