LA GRANDE HIGH WILL PLAY COVE HERE TOMORROW When La Grande ana Core High school football teams mix It up here tomorrow afternoon In the opening game of the nil season for bath elev ens, the' spectators may have a bit of difficulty In determining Just who Is who. Coach Ira Woodle reported this morning that numbered Jorseys have not yet arrived, and as a result, the Tigers will take the field without numbers. And it the weather con tinues bad, mud may add to the dif ficulties. The La Grande squad Is In excel lent shape for the game, considering the early season, the coach reported, adding that he expects to use all members of the squad before the game Is ended. The game Is scheduled to begin at the L. K. 8. gridiron at 2:30 in the afternoon,' with Charles Reynolds as referee. Bob Qulnn as umpire and Tuck Hodgens as head linesman. - Coach Woodle will start a veteran backfleld, and part of the line also saw experience lost year.
