Smutz, of Jo seph, was transferred to the Covo church for the coming year and Rev. George B. Aroher, of Cascade, was transferred to Joseph, A new man to tills district, Rev. Carl Rletz, of Wisconsin, has been assigned to the Enterprise church. , Rev. W. H. Hortzog, who was re turned to the pulpit of the First M. E. church here,. also' will serve as pas tor at the Island City Community church during the coming twelve months. Miss Eberhard left Wednes day evening for Portland, to go from there to Sllverton where she had been teaching, to pack up and proceed to Klamath to be settled when school opens Monday morning. She had been elected for her third year at Sllverton, in which school she had been since she was graduated from the University of Oregon In 1031. but where she had been teaching English instead of her major.
