get a trip to Portland. Everyone In
Cove has heard and enjoyed the
songs of these boys who are both
natives of Cove. They have the best
wishes of everyone in their future
radio work. Two of the Blue" Mt.
Cowboys aro also Lower Cove boys,
Hughes and Ernest Gray, and Cove
1b quite proud to claim four of the
seven winners in the contest.
Miss Berta Barker Is visiting with
her sister, Mrs. Kellar Strlngham and
family, of Enterprise, for several
weeks. She left Cove Sunday.
A large band of sheep belonging tt
John Peterson, of Union, were trailed
through Cove Thursday on their way
to the Little Minam where they will
range during the summer, with one
camp stationed on the Big Minam
near the Horse Ranch.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baird and
son, Graham, and Miss Jane Dunstan
of Baker were guests at the J. R.
Price homo Saturday, remaining un
til Sunday. Jack Mclntire and his
mother with the Baker people were
all dinner guests Sunday which was
Mr. Mclntire's birthday. Mr. Baird
is county Judge of Baker county.
Mrs. Blalsdell, who lias come roin
California to make her homo with
her daughter, Mrs. Keith McCool, Is
visiting a sister In Washington. She
will make an Indefinite stay.
