Mra. O. H. Cleaver, formerly of this
city, who, with Mr. Cleaver, was the

Gilbert was the inspiration for a
charming afternoon event at vhtch
Mrs, Gilbert entertained yesterday at
3:30 o'clock at her home. Mr. and
Mrs. Cleaver left today for Spokane
where they will visit Mr. and Mi.
E. P. McPadden, former La Granders,
before returning to their home In
Moscow,- Idaho.
Conversation was enjoyed by a
group of -Mrs. Cleaver's friends and
refreshments were served by the

auxiliary to serve during the coming
fiscal year when the members met
last night at the Sacajawea Inn. Dele
gates to the department convention

' A potluck lunch was one of the
enjoyable features of the K. D. club
meeting Wednesday afternoon at 2

Riverside park was the scene of an
Informal . social affair Wednesday
when the So-Ne-He club met at 2
o'clock. After the business meeting
the afternoon was spent playing bun
co and the prizes were awarded to
Mrs. Lena Harmon, high, and Mrs.
Clyde Sullivan, consolation.
Refreshments were served by Mrs,
Louis Evans and Mrs. Freda Yeske.
The next meeting will bo an all
day event at Pine Cone on August 9.
