Petition , Presented tb , Wallowa County Court. ENTERPRISE (Special) Petitions on behalf of nearly 60O residents of the north end of the county wore pre sented to tho Wallowa county court, asking that something -be done to connect the Lost Prairie markot road with Troy and thereby give a year around outlet from that district. The court was attentive -but stated that at present luhds were 'not irvallable, It was finally agreed that If assist ants were furnished, County Englneei J. D. They were al most all from the Weston side of the mountains, It Is reported, and It was added that had tho road from Union county been completed, thero would have been about 3000 from this side. There wero two large motor -boats making trips around Langdon lake for tho pleasure of the guests. A number of people from Elgin drove to tho lake over the new grade up Phillips creek,, arfd pronounced the scenery as 'beautiful and tho road as quite good.
