Each layer should be inch deep. Alternate layers until casserole is filled. Have the top layer of tho broken crackers. Place dots of but ter on top and season with black pepper (no salt). Add sweet milk to coyer up to the top layer of crackers. Cover cass6rolo and bake In. oven un til crackers are golden brown. Then slice good sized tomatoes rather thick, enough tp cover the entire top of casserole, pn top of tomato lay thin slices of sharp cheese. Place under the broiler llame until cheese meltea. CREAMED TUNA LA KINO S tablespoons flour. ' 3 tablespoons butter. 14 teaspoon salt. 4 tablespoons cream. 1 CUE yolk, beaton. 6 tablespoons sliced ; mushioms sauted in . . , 1 tablespoon butter. 2 tablespoons chopped ; pimento. 2 cups White Star tuna. Melt butter. Add salt - and flour. Blend well, then stir In milk cream and beaten egg yolk. Beat for several minutes with rotary ibeater. Add pi mento, sauted mushroom and tuna fish. Heat, thoroughly In top of double boiler. Serve In ramekins or on toast with a dash of paprika on top of each serving.
