Members and Friends of Choir Of Presbyterian Church, Enjoy Party Thursday Night At Morgan Home A Jolly "get-together" event was en joyed last night by 50 members and frlonda of the Presbyterian choir at the homo ot Mrs. 8. B. Morgan. The entertainment committee which ar ranged the evening program waa com posed of Harold M. Flnlay, Tom Bruce, Miss Corrlne Baker, Mn$. Avis Ferris and Miss Mildred Bradshaw, A Hallowe'en motif was followed throughout the evening In the- dec orations, gumes and refreshments. The house was strikingly decorated in orange and black. Hallowe'en friessea of black cats were placed over the doors. The lights were encased with Jack-o-lanterns, from which stream ers extended to the corners of the room. Skeletons, pumpkins and cats were suspended from the celling. Besides the choir, the music com mittee and Rev. and Mrs. J. George Wale, were present and enjoyed the program of games and stunts. Prizes were awarded to Harley Rich ardson in the cracker eating contest; C. J, Anderson, marshmallow eating; Lynne Bohnenkamp, Robert Swan and Mr. Worthley tied in the "penny for your thoughts" contest; and Mra; Walz placed first In pinning the tall on the donkey. Mrs, Roscoe Neal re ceived the consolation prize. The party was divided Into four parts, each of whom arranged stunts. The winning stunt, "Washington Crossing the Deleware," was an amus ing reproduction of the famous plc iura by that name, and Harley Rich ardson, Lynne Bohnenkamp, Leonard Plouff, Roscoe Hurley and Ralph Ge: bel took part. Refreshments were served at a late hour, by Mesdames J. P. Morelock, Roscoe Neal, Andrew Loney Jr., Dicn Llndsey and H. M. Brad3haw, Study Class Meets - With Mrs. C.Webb sion Study class In the discussion at the home of Mrs. Clyde Webb. Sev eral members made interesting con tributions to the discussion. The local Presbyterian church, ot which the mission study 'class la an auxiliary, is taking part In tho na tional reading class that la one of the missionary projects of tho Presbyter Ian church. Miss Mabel Doty, public librarian, distributed a group of salient books among the memoers from the publlo library. The study data will tako charge of the program ot the Homo department Thursday afternoon, Nov. 3 at the home of Mrs. A. T. Hill. Lutheran Ladies Aid In Session Th0 Lutheran Ladies Aid began the study of the mission study book, "In dia on the March, " by Alden Clark, yesterday when it met at the home i of Mrs. Art Weagel, on Cove avenue. The study will continue at future meetings, Mrs. L. J. Ebert president, said this morning. Mi3s Genevieve Nelson presented a group of readings yesterday which jwere enjoyed by a large group who attended tho meeting.
