greatest enthusiasm.
Dolls and toy animals are stabbed,
shot, dismembered, Imprisoned and
executed without compassion.
The adult watching doea not un
derstand how a Child who has been
always humanely treated, who has
Men little or no cruelty In his life,
can come by such Ideas or how he
can derive such obvious delight In
acting them out. The natural thing
Is to try to discourage such play.
Usually the attempt falls. Even
If it seems to succeed, continued ob
servation will show that It surely
crops up again In a new although
perhaps less direct form.

"that we're In for a long hop. That
fellow down there 1 sticking to a
course that's as straight as a plumb

Mrs. Ella Walte and family, Owen
and La Grande Allen, who spent the
day fishing.
