Whirl of Social Activity Features Arrival Of 1932 A whirl of activity Introduced 1032, Thursday evening, although, the streets of the city were rather quiet. Dances and parties, lasting until a late hour, formed the leading enter tainment, with the B. of L. P. and E. sponsoring a "watch night" ball at the ball room of the Sacajawea Inn. Among the Thursday evening hosts and hostesses were Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Vorrel, Mr. and Mrs. Clytla Hoppel and Mr. and Mrs. C. At Court Whist Watch Night Party At Hoppel Home A watch night party was enjoyed by the Triangle Bridge club Thurs day evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hoppel. Twelve members celebrated the coming of the new year. Bridge was played during the eve ning and Mrs. Wesley McDonald and Donald Gaily received the prizes for high scores. . The luncheon table was attractively decorated with a cen terpiece of red carnations and frezla. Bridge was played after luncheon with Mrs. Everett Keown receiving tho high prize, and Mrs. Henry Hess, second. Diversity Club Is Entertained The homo of Mrs. Claude Puckett was the scene of a meeting of the Diversity club, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Puckett was assisted in entertaining by Mrs. Fred Rees. Bridge was played during the af ternoon, with 15 members and one guest, Mrs. Otis Huff, forming four tables. Mrs. Weldon Vcdder was the high scorer of the afternoon and Mrs. F. Prouty received the consolation. Mrs. Puckett and Mrs. Rees served refreshments after bridge. Mr3. Ved dcr will be the next hostess In two weeks, and will be assisted by Mrs. Saul Wlrth. Mr. and Mrs. - Harold Hale were low scorers.
