Wages on Accident Commission Lower. SALEM, May 21 P The state in dustrial accident commission yester day announced an equalized wage scale effecting a saving of about 10 per cent, and which affects about, 100 employes of the department. The department is the first In official Oregon to announce wage reductions. The new wage is effective June 1. ' In some instances the wages are reduced 20 per cent, while in other Instances a slight increase was made. The commission also has under consideration the removal of its Port land offices, now located at 10th and Salmon streets, into less costly quar ters, Commissioner Charles Early said.
