ROSEBURO, Ore.. July 23 UPt J.
W. Kammi 70, who fatally wounded
Urban Barrett, his partner on a ranch
near Drew, during a quarrel has been
ordered held for the grand Jury. A
coroner's Jury placed the responsibil
ity for the killing upon Hamm. He
told, police ho shot Barrett to death
when the latter attacked him. The
quarrel was over the measurement of
a wheat field.
Hamm testified Barrett was subject
to "fits" when "the moon was right.''
He described the argument and told
of Barrett's alleged attack. Officers
said they found the cabin In order,
chased him several times around a
table In the cabin before Hamm could
get a gun.
