Kichtuilson were st und hostess at their homo in iiinor of the members of the tidies Triad choir and a few fiends. Miss Phyllis Chandliir. ,i of brtland, sister of Mrs. 13. D.. Tow- was an out-of-town guest, rooms wcro attractively (orated with spring flowers, feat- ping snapdragons and sweet peas. During the evening Miss Kath- -yn Wissler sang two delightful umbers, "Sing to Me, My Black. Brd" und "Koso of My Heart." Liunod's ".Sing, Smile, Slumber" In French was a lovely solo, sung by Miss Huth Ocibel who also sang "April Tide." The soloists were ac companied by Mrs. Lynn "Wright. In the dining room Mrs. W. H. Ilohnenkamp Jr. and .Mrs. L. U. Moo presided at the tablo which was effectively arranged with plnlc roses and columbine. They wcro assist rd by Miss Harriet Glenn, Miss Corrino Baker and Miss Mary Vaughn Hendrickson. Mrs. K. IX Towler and Mrs. H. N. Ashby as sisted in the drawing room. . Club Gathers In Masonic Parlors A delightful meeting was en joyed by the Past Matrons club Wednesday night at the Masonic parlors with about 20 members present. Following a business meeting a social hour was spent. Later delicious refreshments were served by tho hostesses. Miss Paul int Lederlc and Mrs. Margaret Wells. The . next meeting will bo with Mrs. Florence Bacon and Mrs. Marjorie Francos, Juno 10, . Home-Making Club Meets Wednesday The Work and Fllo Home-Making club of tho 4-H workers spon sored by tho Willow I'arent- Toaclicr association met yesterday afternoon nt tho home of Mrs. . ! C. Alexander, on Island City ave nue, ut 4 o'clock with all members In nttondunce. Following a short business meet, ing. two piano solos were presented by .Georglauua Lockwood ana Frances Alexander. Songs wero al so sung by the club. Delicious refreshments wore served by Irma Dates und Virginia Campbell. Bridge Club In Enjoyable Party ' T 1 1 e San Tan ' k a Bridge- club membors were guests of Mrs. Harry Christy Wednesday at a delightful afternoon of bridge. Mrs. A. K. Moore, Mrs. Graco Head and Mrs. Don Kmlthpeler. of Baker, wero guests for tho afternoon with Mrs. Head winning guest prize. High honors at cards were won by Mrs. Will Casey. Mrs. Cecil Mathews received consolation award. Mrs. Will Sioclting is a new member of tho group which was formerly tho Safeway club. Later dainty refreshments were served. The next meeting will bo June a with Mrs. Grace niead in Bukei. Perry Club Meets With Robertsons also spent tho afternoon with them. Guessing contests were held with Mrs. Nell ' Jtobcrtson and Mrs. Chnrlos Hanson receiving honors. Mis. Hobert Young entertained with several solos. About 4 o'clock 111 tho afternoon a delicious two.eoursc dinner was served. The club anticipates a meeting in tho near future with Mrs. llullantyno at Dnkt. Bible Searchers Class Entertained The Perry club was delightfully entertained Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Kob ertson, of Pondosa, with ten mem bers present from this vicinity. Mrs. Gilbert Rnllantync, of linker, The llible Searchers of tho Pres byterian church class enjoyed a pleasant afternoon yesterday at tho church parlors with Mrs. Hobert Hakin, Mis. J. K. Wright and Mrs. Klizabciu lluck hostesses. Mrs. Harry R. Turner presided at tho meeting when a program was enjoyed and amusing games were played. The devotional was led by Mrs. William Condit. Miss Joyco Cuslck played a vio lin solo accompanied by Miss Doris Williams. A piano solo was played by Miss Kathnrino Wissler. Later dainty refreshments were served at the close of tho afternoon. Mrs. Walter Lane Entertains Club - At a pleasant afternoon of bridge Mrs. Walter La no was hosr- ess to the lleloinalo club yesterday at her homo with three- tables at play. .
