Americans are familiar with the stately memorials at Arlington, under tlie Are de Tri omphe and in Westminster Abbey. But few ii the United States realize to what extent the idea of enshrining an un identified soldier swept over the countries which participated in the World war. His hard-boiled ways are tamed. He is prob ably married settled down hard at, work on the job of making a living and looking out for the future of a fine youngster or two. Although he lives over the war days today, the chief interest of this hard-boiled veteran of 1918 is the work days, the home days, the peace days of the future. And while we congratulate him every vet eran of 1918 on his memorable war service and high sacrifice, we also congratulate him on his present-day citizenship, his peace-time ambi tion, his loyalty and his patriotism of today. n; rauhc ifaiuutcti Bank Member Federal Reserve - Resources Over 2 Million.
