visiting here, and Itay Lynch were;
Saturday and Simday visitors! to
the South Korlt. While the women
and children enjoyed the outftiK at
Shady Rest camp (at the end of
- the road) "the men .visited Maxwell,
u and Steamboat lakes, where some
J good catches ot fish were made.
.Maxwell mite aa tLuuui unt-iiMiiviL
open, and .fishing was poor there
except through holes in the snow
and Ice,, which - was seven feet
thick. Steamboat lake was well
rjjfvered with thin ice .but open at
several places and evening fishing
was excellent. Sunday morning
was different, however, as the lake
was entirely covered with one
fourth inch of Hew lee. which pre
vented fishing before the men left
for camp. One feature of the re
turn trip was the "coasting" down
mountain sides for about one-half
mile on. the snow, which is very
much in evidence in the high
mountains. From the character of
the ground, they estimated that
they walld over snow banks 4ti
feet deep.

A Little Sugar Can Put Plea

Foods enn be bland, tasteless and

The preparation of foods so varied
