The guest list included the graduates und their pu rents, the members of tho Junior class, the high school faculty, the school board and the Hi-dads, and fpr their pleasure the hostesses had arranged a'dellghtfut programme which occupied the first hour and remainder of the evening was aptJnt dancing. The ball-room wus : prettily arranged und decorated. The senior colors, erven and gold were used and also baskets of flowers flllod all tho niches and corners of the . ball room. . . he formal program opened with an ml dress of welcome by Maurice Itakor, president ' of the; student body, other numbers being-in the following order, v Piano solo, Barbara Pldcock. Meters will bo read continuously throughout the month, each customer's meter being reud on tho same day each month and his bill for tho previous month's service will be delivered to his, door within five days after the meter reading. . y Outside of linker and La Grande bills will be mailed and all customers will bo allowed a five per cent discount on all light bills paid within ten diivs after delivery of the bill. Under the now system, discounts will be figured to tho penny instead of the nearest five cents as in the past. This new meter reading system and the accompanying discount meiii tjtl will become effective Juno 1st; allowing customers a chance to accus tom themselves to the change before the billing machine is put into opera tion in July.
