Banana Pudding
Three bannnas, 1 cup sugar," 4
eggs, J cup stale cake crumbs, Ife
cups milk, i 3 tablespoons lemon
juice, 2 teaspoons grated lemon
krind, icaspoon'sqlt;'4 tapIcSpoons
powdered sugar.
Peel, scrape and slice bananas.
Sprinkle with lemon juice. Beat 2
whole eggs and yolks of 2 eggs
with sugar, salt and lemon rind and
milk. Add cake crumbs and be
nanas. Mix lightly and turn Into
a buttered baking dish. Bake 30
minutes in a moderate ovon. Cover
with meringue and bake ten min
utes longer In a slow oven.
To make meringue.- bent the
whites of two eggs until stiff and"
dry. Fold In powdered sugar and
pile on top of pudding.
