There are othor things that make one feel that spring is Just around the oorner, such as the singing of hens, a full basket of "cackle berries," rippling water and stock roaming in quest of green grass. Mrs. Hoy Munsell has been ill following uh operation on her ear. She has had It lanced twice since the operation. Mr. and Mrs. frank Poole have returned homo from Milton und ( Wala Walla whore they drovo to visit with Mr. Poolo's mother and I othor relatives and friends, ; Mr. and Mrs. Ueoriio H. Tucker and two daughters left early Frl day morning (or their homo at Medford. Ore., after a two weeks visit here at the home of Mrs. 1 Tucker's mother, Mrs. Mary Coun- i sol, her sister Mrs. Charles Orandy and brother, H. K. Counsell.
