Tho-feature of tho convention

carefully Inspected by all of the

pronouncing it a fit companion to
the lamer models of tho "Cater

tory, throughout the world'. Pro
duction huh just started on the Ten,
and It will he a few weeks before
the first shipments of this model
will he received and displayed lo

tions and prices are available in tho
offices of all "Caterpillar" dealers.
Another featuro of the conven
tion was the announcement of a'
substantial price reduction In all
models of the "Caterpillar trac

rect that better "Caterpillar" trac
tor company announced at the time
that they succeeded the Holt and
Hest Tractor company, to tho ef

tors would be built to sell for less
money. The recent reduction rep

tho 'aterpillnr Tractor company
was "organized four years ago. The
price reductions have been made
even in the face of n constantly Im
proved product according to tho
local dealer's.
Visit In Minneapolis
In addition to attending the con

Minneapolis, This firm has re

Substantial price reductions are

of road machinery. This lino to

marketed by Caterpillar dealers J
along with the "Caterpillar" trac

Calls were made by the local rep

Athcy-Truss Wheel company in
Chicago, and I,a Planto Choato
Manufacturing company, at Cedar
Haplds, Iowa, both of which firms
manufacture equipment especially
designed for use with "Caterpillar"
tractors. It is reported that tho
latest products of these firms will
even further increase the field' of
usefulness of the "Caterpillar"
tractor.
C. W. Hunting Is particularly
outspoken In his praise of tho ln
ion Pacific railroad on which the
trip was made. Ho slates that It
was a pleasant surprise to find the
convenience and punctuality af
forded by tho Union Pacific Port
land Limited train, that the citizens
of La Grande can be justly proud
of the pan. played by this com

Here is a challenge that rings with fulfillment. Its bid is to all
who would own the best, and no car is excepted.
In Fast Getaway against the champions of any price class. In
Speed anything the road offers up to 70 miles an hour. In
Endurance 60 miles an hour all day long is being proved by
thousands. In Hill-climbing give it the hardest task you know.
In Size and Roominess match with big cars of large passenger
capacity. In Appearance and Smartness compare it with the!
costly cars, in which high price is paid for just those things. ,
In Economy against small light cars, whose chief appeal is
economical operation, and which do not contend for per
formance distinction.
These are but a few of the 76 ad
vanced features which a million
Super-Six owners are appraising
in. Essex the Challenger. Come
examine and drive it. It will not
only win your endorsement; but
challenge your ownership inter
est against any value that motor
dom may offer.
