With but two cases of influenxu ut
the Oregon state penitentiary, the
situation has so fur improved that
the quarantine will be lifted Wed
nesday, Jan. S3. Supt. Henry
Meyee announced this morning.
Thirty cases of influenza were re
corded during the epidemic ut the
prison. '
Between 25 and 30 patients are
said to he suffering wtih the dis
ease nt the state hopitul, with ap
proximately luo cases in the Insti
tution since the outbreak of the
epidemic.
