Union county Pomona grange will
bo hetd this coming Saturday. June
23 at 'ho Pleasant Grove grange

who attend. It is hoped that the
attendance may be very largo.

Park. Tho weather was a bit cool
for an out of door picnic gather
ing, but In, tho shelter houso with
a big fire in tho firo-pluce, there
was real solid comfort and pleasur
able enjoyment for tho relatives
who made up tho largo company.
Tho affair was entirely informal,
and consequently. It is reported, alt
tho more to tho wish or overyone.
Tho dinner was served at one
o'clock. It was a basket dinner

I date everyone.. It would bo need
less to say that there was an
I abundance of tho most tempting
dishes of food and that this part
of tho program was not. the least
. enjoyable.
At a short business meeting. Mrs.

been secretary for a number of

since the last gathering. Dlek

cipate in this particular reunion

H. Conley, and of the Smith family
of whom Mrs. Ounlcy was ono. Mr.
Conley has been deceased for sev
eral years, while Mrs. Conley pass
ed away, after several years of frail
hculth, slnco Inst year's reunion.
Mr. and Mrs. Conley were among
the early settlors in this valley hav
ing pioneered hero from Illinois
in 1S74. Mr. Conley wus ono of
the 1 urgent land owners In this pat
of tho state.

Cove erected this splendid building for a library, at an expenditure

would do credit to a much larger place than Cove, but, It in doubt
