chopped dates, 1 cup chopped nut
incuts, teaspoon vanilla.
I'our cup boiling water over

cuke. Creum butter and stir In
sugar. Add egg well Ucaten. Mix
and sift flour, salt, soda und buk
ing powder three or four tlms.
Add. to rest of mixture. Add boil
ing water and beut until smooth.
