l-'ox Farm." His plant consists of
35 pen each Xxfttt feet, and each
pen bedding a pair of the foxes.

feet into which the pups are turn
ed ill the summer lime until they
have practically matured.
Tlie fox business is quite a pro
fitable one. when rightly conduet

one pup out of 32. Home I imes
they will kill each other. This,
of cotir.ee, is a dead loss at this
time of the year, but should such
a thing occur in the winter time,

loss. Mr. I'erry has one fox which
has netted him .vnn from Hales
in two years, ho reports. He also
reports that he has had foxes
which have had litters of pups of
as many as ten in number before
they had reached one year of age.
He believes that his is the only
fox farm in this vicinity this year
which has any largo number of
the. young animals.
Animals and pelts have been i
1 shipped from Imbler to all parts of
the country, as well a having been
sold locally. There went fourteen
of tin- animals in one single ship
ment last year. ltlue Fox pelt
will bring all the way from JiiO
to $1M each.
