Cut a shallow lengthwise stUe from each cucumber. Scoop th- seeds and center from the thick pnrt ol each cucumber. Moisten crumbs witli left -over gravy or hot water and add melted butter. Mt lightly with a fork and ad 1 onion grated, meat and unbeaten yolks of eggs. Season with salt and pep pci and mix t ho rough 1 v. Pack into the prepared cucum bers and put bacon on top. Covr with the shallow slices of the cu cumbers' and tie in place with a soft cord., Place on lack ol roas ter and bake :tu minutes in a hut own. Haste several times Willi water or slock.
