four pianos of the liritish royal air force have just com
pleted a notable flight of 11,000 miles, from Curio to Cape
town and back. The flight is described as a success in every
respect. The flyers carried out their program without a
hitch. The engines ray perfectly, and returned in such gimd
condition that it is believed they could duplicate the voyage
without overhauling. Obviously this generation is Weeding

The high pressure which drives people into things they can
not (utile afford, is bound, in time, to react upon all sales
manship. Taking every pains to lay before a prospective pur
chaser the advantages of one's own product is legitimate.
Rut driving him over the edge of his reasonable buying power
is selling him into slavery.
On the soiling side the salesman should find out whether
his prospect can be expected to be able to pay his installments,
without unduly cramping his living. There is no economic'
advantage for anyone in debts that are difficult or impus-i

so ago showed the incomes of seven so pledged for install-'
ment payments that nothing at all remained for food or rent.
